The 22nd Annual beach water quaility report was released this week by the Natural Resources Defense Council. There only 12 Beaches given the 5 star rating for water quaility. Two of them happen to be right here in NH with Hampton Beach and Wallis Sands at Rye Beach being named on the list once again. New Hampshire as a state ranked #2 on the list for water quaility. More than 3000 Beaches were evaluated in the latest study. The report outlines not only water quaility, but cleanliness and best practices on the nation's most popular Beaches.  Another reason that makes New Hampshire a great place to Live, Work and Play (tm). It does not take magic to turn your "For Sale" sign into a "Sold" sign. it takes a full time Local Agent who specializes in Listing homes like yours.     If you need ...

Woke up this morning to snow falling, that's two days in a row for us!  We probably only got about 2 inches in total but that is enough to make the roads messy and treacherous when drivers are being stupid. So far we've had a fairly mild winter with hardly any snow fall but these last two days have made everything nice and white. Yesterday, on my way to work I took a slight detour and rode out to the beach.  I wanted to shoot a few videos of Hampton Beach covered with snow and it was so pretty albeit very cold and windy. Personally I think the beach looks awesome covered in white snow!  What do you think? Hope you enjoy my videos and please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel at >>>  Coastal and Southern NH Living   Hampton Beach NH Hampton Beach North Side Park Hampton Beach The...

Today i was lucky enough to visit the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival for the afternoon. We got there right around 11am, trafic was still light. We parked and headed in. The lines were very small if at all at most booths. I think i sampled some of everything, i was actually too full for the famous apple crisp. By noon the tents were getting full and the lines were getting long. I ventured to the outside where there was plenty of room to walk. After eating lunch i headed down the beach, set up my chair and enjoyed the sun. The waves were huge with the latest hurricane pulling out to sea. I tempted the water, it was cool but refreshing. It was then i realized i missed the Lobster Roll eating contest. But as i sat on the Jetty watching the boats and the fisherman... it was ok. For one after...

Hampton Beach NH was named one of the cleanest Beaches in the USA as well as named to the list of the 5 most cleanest Waters in the country. Hampton Beach doesn't escape having it's share of trash, the trash left behind by up to 100,000 visitors a day does not get left by accident in most cases and sure does not dissappear by accident. Despite the fact there are trash bins and recycling bins at the entrance to EVERY beach access, people with no respect for our beach leave behind, empty cans, bottles, news papers, food wrappers, bags, broken chairs, diapers, ciggarette butts, water jugs, paper plates and more. The most important fact is the State of NH Parks and Recreation Workers walk the boardwalk with brooms picking up anything tossed aside, they also empty trash cans constantly to av...

Do you know what type of water your are swimming in? The headlines read "Beach Closures Increase" accross the country in Newspapers from LA to the Gulf Coast to Florida to New England. If you are swimming at Hampton Beach NH than you are in luck, Named on the list for the Cleanest Beaches in the USA, New Hampshire came out on top. 3000 beaches in the 30 Coastal and Great Lake States were surveyed for 2010 as to the times beaches failed to meet federal health standards.New Hampshire's "Jewel" Hampton Beach has undergone a massive upgrade of infrasturcture, parking and structures for tourists including new bath houses.I think i will go and check them out on Wed. with 90 degrees on the weather map.Updated July 4, 2011Copyright 2008-2011, All rights reserved

Everyone in Real Estate knows that working in Real Estate is certainly not always a "day at the beach." It is filled with ups and downs as we strive to stay the course and do our best. This week was "A day at the Beach" as i was lucky enough to have a buyer looking in the Hampton Beach area, received a new listing up there and had several BPO's to complete. Although summer has not arrived a few places are open and no traffic jams.I did get to notice the amount of work that has been accomplished over the winter in the "remaking" of Hampton Beach. For those who have not been to the beach since last year, you are in for some huge and pleasant surprises.I wanted to share some of my picturesI know, no pictures of the water , sand or bikini's but dont worry they are coming soon....Happy Friday...

The Hampton Beach Redevelopment work continues through the winter. The South bath house appears near completion, The Sea shell complex is making amazing progress. The shell is up and they are working on the interior. Work progresses around on the Ocean side where a new sea wall is being built. In the matter of 3 months the progress is spectacular. When they tore it down it was one of those "not so sure" moments as the memories of the past were ending a new beginning were about to start. The face of the beach is changing forever. Until seeing the progress i was not so sure if it was for the better or worse, but now that i see the buildings and the new landscaping, it will make the area much better than ever imagined. If you visit, parking is free until May 1, 2011For more info go to www.H...

With Hurricane Earl come and gone on Friday just brushing the coast, Saturday brought sunny skies with temperatures in the 80's. The beach was busy but no where near packed, which was great for the people who did come to the beach for the day or the weekend. I am sure the business owners would have liked to see more people, but the ones that did come to the beach, were well rewarded with great weather. The waves were no where near as big as last weekend where they were topping 10 feet, but the swell kept swimmers in shallow water. The sea walls were lined near high tide with people watching the waves splash over the sea walls. The surfers were out in masses. The water was the warmest it has been all year. Those walking the beach were rewarded with the Oceans bounty after a storm with lo...

Today was the day locals wait for at Hampton Beach... The day the "coast is clear".90 degrees, no humidity, waves large enough for some great Boogie Borading but not as big as yesterday to swamp you...  You see as Jimmy Buffett sings about:The tourist traps were empty The kids are back in school Vacancy abounds Almost like it used to be Before the circus came to town Having worked all weekend showing houses, being able to set a few appointments at the Beach this morning, and setting some time aside in teh afternoon to recharge and get some sun one more time before cool fall air takes over...  The business owners may think different as they look forward to one more full house this Labor weekend, but for me, this was the best Beach Day of the Year!!! Another reason why New Hampshire is ag...

With the temperatures reaching the 90 degree mark for the first time in years for this Holiday weekend, people flocked to the beach. The town had soem new pedestrian fencing along Ocean Blvd to keep teh crowds on the sidewalks and in the crosswalk. it worked wonderfully allowing traffic to continue to flow, although slowly it wasnt at a stop as every past year. The beach was very corwded during the day but the 62 degree water was actually refreshing. At night it was busy but by no means packed. Traffic flowed, there was room to walk on teh sidewalks and the restaurants and night spots had only very short waits, it seems there were more day trippers who all headed home when teh sun went down. For cleanliness: A For the new pedestrian controls: A For the great weather: A For the 1 man and...
