On Friday March 7th Monika and I closed on this bank owned property in East Hampstead, New Hampshire. It had been on the market for just a few hours when our buyers called us and said they they wanted to see it. Our website extracts listings from our MLS a few times a day so our customers and clients can see what is new to the market quicker than most other websites out there. Our Buyers had just had a bad experience with another bank owned property in Hampstead where the bank's management company took over two weeks to de-winterize the property and for our buyers time was of the essence. After much delay our clients finally walked away from that property and moved on.Things looked good as we drafted an offer on the new listing and had a pretty quick negotiating session. Well, I was going to do short little blog about my 1st YouTube video attempt. I was feeling bad because I couldn't go out and help my very strong hubby shovel all that wet cold snow. So I thought I'd "film" the event!  But then I played it back and was shocked at how weird I sounded...in fact I don't think I sound like me at all.  I'm not sure what I thought I sounded like but certainly not like what I heard.  So I asked my very strong handsome hubby...If I really sound like that?? And he smiled and said sorta...Anyone else freak a little when they hear their recorded voice? Happy St Patrick's Day Nor'Easter...New England got whacked! Not too much real estate sales activity going on in Hampstead New Hampshire today everyone is just too busy digging out! Again it seems we have been hit by a St. Patrick's day Nor'Easter here in Hampstead, New Hampshire. I think going back 4 out of the last 6 years we have been hit with a major snowstorm in the middle of March. The only good thing about March snowstorms are they won't last. The snow will melt as the days get longer and the temperatures get warmer. Our golf league starts April 4th this year. We head to Myrtle Beach March 27th and will return on or about the 3rd of April. I hope to get in a couple of rounds of golf and some practice and Monika will just veg. on the beach.Jay and Monika McGillicuddyServing Southern New Hampshire and Rockingham CountyNew Hampshire Real Estate with Jay McGillicuddy NH Real Estate Blogs Prudential Verani RealtyHampstead NH Real Estate603-548-7685
