www.ExecutiveRestoration.ComWhat kind of issues, do you see from the attached and above photo?Do you see Water Intrusion Issues?  Do you see Water Damage that has continued,  to enter the basement?  Correct the outside of the home from water issues and then I would suggest sealing the basement walls and floor.  Of course, before you do any sealing of walls and floors, make sure you clean, before you seal anything.Do you see Water Heater Issues?  The water heater, from the photo, has either not been maintained or it is very old.  How water heaters need to be drained and flushed, at least once a year.  Make sure you turn off the power to the hot water heater first, before you do any cleaning or flushing to it.  You can drain the water heater first by using a garden hose and getting the wa...

How many homes or buildings have you seen, that do not have gutters?  I see so many buildings and homes that do not have gutters.  This is not good.   The purpose of gutters is to divert the water from the roof and channel the water from the roof to downspouts and get the water away from the foundation of the home.  We do not want to have water dropping to the foundation of any home or building.  Homes without gutters and downspouts create water damage that drops to the foundation of the building and this can create water damage issues to the foundation of the home as well as attract Termites as well as create Mold Removal issues that you do not want or need.  Both of these issues cost money to correct.  Another thing that homes that do not have gutters create are soil erosion to the ya...

Do You Need To Sell Your Greater Charlotte Home This Summer? There's Still Time to Sell Your Home! And It's Still A Good Time To Sell Your Home! It's still a seller's market in the Greater Charlotte area. The pandemic is unpredictable, but Charlotte's real estate market is still doing great. It has become one of the hottest seller's markets in the US. The housing inventory in Uptown Charlotte is low while the demand for housing is rising. Mortgage interest rates are also historically low, further increasing housing demand. The high demand for housing in North Carolina continues to be fueled. This is from the influx of home buyers from expensive cities. Areas such as New York, Chicago, and California. This drove the housing prices to rise fast between 2020 and 2021. Home value is determined using valuation tools. These are comparative market analysis, a home appraisal, and evaluation of comparable properties. It can be hard to know how much your home is worth. This is because it depends o...

National Mutt Day: July 31 Today is the 17th anniversary of National Mutt Day in Charlotte (and everywhere else for that matter). Also known as Mixed Breed Dog Day,  National Mutt Day was created in 2005 by animal welfare advocate, Colleen Paige, to raise awareness of the plight of mixed breed dogs in shelters all over the country and to educate the public about the millions of mixed breed dogs desperately awaiting their "fur-ever" homes. National Mutt Day, is the perfect day to visit your local shelter and adopt a mixed breed dog. My dogs have all been mixed breeds. All came from our local shelters in the Charlotte area. There's never been the slightest doubt in my mind that they have been the most loving, smartest, and healthiest dogs we've owned. But I wouldn't want anyone to think ...
