The Enchanted Oaks subdivision in Raleigh, NC features large homes, wooded lots and plenty of privacy. The character of the Enchanted Oaks neighborhood is decidedly rural. There’s no municipal water available. Water is supplied by wells. There’s also no sewer system. Sanitation is via a community septic tank. The oldest homes in Enchanted Oaks were built in the 1980’s and many of the best can be found on Penny Road. The style of these homes is traditional and they are among the most affordable in the subdivision. Some of the newer homes are located off Wheeler Road and were built in the 1990’s. While more modern in construction, they don’t have the style and appeal of the older homes. Lake Wheeler Road contains newer homes and the most recent construction took place off Birchleaf Drive....
