  What are homes going to look like in the next 5 years? Do you remember your childhood home? Your grandparents’ home? I’m sure your childhood home and possibly your grandparents home too had choppy-individualized rooms, with probably one bathroom. A master suite? Fayetteville NC Homes for Sale Great news for my sellers, this beautiful home in Somerset is under contract! God willing, it will close in mid-September and the buyers will have found a really beautiful home to build their life in. This home has been on the market for 55 days. Currently, there are 9 homes for sale in the neighborhood and they have been on the market for an average of 88 days. In the past 6 months, homes in this neighborhood that sold were on the market for an average of 112 days. It's no small thing that this home is under contract. April 30th is the deadline for the First Time Home Buyers-Military Extension-tax credit! The $8,000 first time home buyer credit, for many, has come and gone. For military, the time left to purchase and claim your credit is dwindling down. Here are the requirements: An eligible taxpayer must buy or enter into a binding contract to buy a home by April 30th and close on the purchase by June 30th  The military member had to have deployed (Haiti counts) for at least 90 days between Dec. 31, 2008 and  before May 1, 2010. You do not have to repay the credit if you own and use the home as your main home for 36 months after the date of purchase. There are also exceptions to these general rules when a repayment triggering event occurs.   If you would like more specific info you can CONTACT ME.

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a big fan of the subdivision. I know it like the back of my hand and thought I would share WHY I love it!     RIVERBROOKE is centrally located about 1 minute from the Fire Department, 1 minute from the Sheriffs office and about 2 minutes from a new Wal-Mart and a Food Lion. You only pay County taxes. This makes a huge different because you get more for less. The subdivision boats a wide variety of homes, the prices range from $130,000 to about $180,000. There is also a wide variety in floor plans and square footage, perfect for the first time home buyer. The subdivision has a big military presence, due to it being close to Fort Bragg. I look at homes all day everyday. I see them from the time there just a lot til the time the homeowners have moved in and made it there own! I'm sure I told you all why I love homes and if not...let me divulge. My Dad, bless his heart. He was a dreamer. He would drive around all the subdivisions that the SAINTS players lived in, because where I'm from, the more money someone has the less drapery they believe in, to see their homes. Call it stalking, I call it driving really slow to be safe and rubber necking! We wouldn't be looking in per say, but more at the home and the configuration and layout. We would also go to construction sites of everything-- from new construction to new apartment buildings-- just to see. From there...I found my love of looking at houses!   I have two favorites...
