Well Hello AR members... I held an Open House in St. James NC.  There were 3 of us from our company that did the "COAST IN AND WIN" Open houses.  Meaning that those that came to the open house could be put in a drawing for $500. Problem, there were only 6 or so agents to come out and view this house.  Even with us offering gift cards and gifts and food.  We served chicken salad croissants, wheat and plain rolls with ham, cheese, turkey, and roast beef, Chips,  Chocolate Eclairs. Hello to All! We are experiencing beautiful, warm, sunny days right now.  The beaches beacons us to come and enjoy the warmth and to fish, shell hunt and sun bathe.  I am so ready.  It has been a long cold Winter here in the South Eastern Part of North Carolina. There is much going on tomorrow.  We will have a Chili Cook off at Franklin Square gallery and many vendors will be selling their wares.  What great fun!   Then later in the day we will have Live Green Music and Arts festival. Our Baseball games have started and we have 2 of our grandchildren playing in the leagues.  Our Saturdays are filled with Baseball games.. I seem to be getting more BPO's lately and they are getting harder to please.  I am giving them data from our MLS and they are still wanting more.  How can I give them more when I am giving them the FACTS. How do you come up with a Comparable sale when  nothing has sold.  YOu can't ..You can't make it up. I think that the requirements have to take this in to consideration. WE spend a lot of time and energy trying to please them, but if the facts do not support...we have not control. spent our time and energy to do the work and will not be compensated for it.   12/14/2012

Great Day with the Grandchildren today. They spent the night last night and after roasting Marshmallow and Hot dogs ....bath time came.  I took a bit of time to get them out of the tub but they came out squeaky clean. Next was the time that we built the Sleeping pallet.  What fun...Every pillow and blanket was pulled into our bedroom the makes the sleeping bed.  Marissa, the 4 year, wanted to be able to touch my hand as she was falling asleep.  WE all slept fairly well.  This morning after breakfast, we had to do Make Up and Hair.  Joshua placed computer games on the computer.  The next thing that they wanted to do was to play Restaurant.   That is when they push a cart around that has slicked apples, grapes, bananas, crackers and juice on the cart.  They come and take our orders and th... 11/17/2012

Well, today I received my new Dell Laptop latitude computer.  Do you realize how much trouble it is to move everything that you need and feel is important ...from a desk top....to a lap top? I have spent the better part of a day trying the figure out the new computer.  It has Windows 7 on it and I have been used to working with Windows XP.   I think I like Windows 7 just fine.
