Pricing is directly related to marketing time a property and whether it will get sold. Pricing is important at all times but is particularly important in a buyers market. The following is advice on pricing homes to sell in North Carolina. Take Into Account Market Trends Every local market is unique. Premier Realty will prepare a CMA which considers sales of comparable listings in your geographic area and provide an estimated price range in which your home could sell. This amount can change based on the season and recent sales, so avoid relying on old valuations. Remain Realistic When reviewing the market report, be aware that there is a range. Where your l...

You enjoy the pride of homeownership, and you want to buy as soon as possible so that you can take advantage of today’s lower prices.   Here are answers to two commonly asked questions about buying a home after foreclosure:   How soon can we buy a home after a foreclosure?   Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac impose the following waiting periods on conventional home loans, depending on the type of foreclosure you went through:   ·         Buying after a foreclosure: The waiting period is 5 to 7 years. ·         Buying after a foreclosure with extenuating circumstances: The waiting period is 3 to 7 years. ·         Buying after a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure: The w...

Mocksville NC is the county seat of Davie County. The area is rural but only about thirty minutes from most of the major cities. Winston Salem, Salisbury, Statesville, High Point and Greensboro are all a short commute away. Many of the residence of Mocksville work locally while others commute to the cities. As a former resident and member of the Mocksville NC community I can personally speak to the community. The only high school in Davie County is located in this city. Likewise, the Davie County schools central office is located in Mocksville. Many people relocate to this county for the great school systems as you can see from the community reports. - Universal Design Elements Home in North Carolina are "Doggone" GreatMocksville, NC. "We want our new home to have a look that is functional but also aesthetically pleasing," my Asheville friends who are about to relocate reported.  "You know Dad's in his wheelchair these days and he'll be moving with us. He wants to roll on in to our new home with style. And Dad's determined to have a very nice, high-end bath that is totally accessible!" Having experience with our own wheelchair-bound Dad, I understood exactly what they desired. And there are a number of such high-accessible design homes in Asheville that I could have shown them, but my friends have a son at Wake Forest University  in Winston-Salem, NC  and they want to be closer to him. So it was time to put the word out to our REALT...

Davie county is close to several universities and collges. Wake Forest University is only about a 30 minute commute from Mocksville. Also, UNC Greensboro, High Point University, Winston Salem State, and a few others are all close enough to commute. Also, Daivdson County Comunity College (DCCC) , Forsyth County Community College, and others are also very close by. DCCC also has a campus in Davie County right across the road from Davie County High School. It provides unique oppurtunities for those who wish to continue their education and for high school students across the road. They have some very neat programs that allow high school students to gain college credits before they have graduated from the high school. So if you are relocating to this area rest assured that proffesional educa...

Davie County Schools are known for being some of the best around. As Kristen and I were both former school teachers we can attest for that. Davie only has one high school currently and it is quickly becoming crowded. The big debate is: should they build another high school and have 2 or if one large school would work? Well according the the school board one large school is too costly and not a possibility. The fear in building 2 high schools is that it will divide the county. With two high schools comes two football teams that play each other and it will create a rivalry. School pride is very high now and everyone goes to cheer on Friday nights and support the team. Who knows what the future holds but lets hope that the schools keep up the good work and the school board makes some good ...

Mocksville, NC in the words of a storyteller I know is " just a hair past nowhere." Though Davie County is growing by leaps and bounds it still has that small town feel. Most of the time when you say "Mocksville" most folks respond by saying something like "Oh I like Tennessee!" Mocksville however, is the county seat of Davie County NORTH CAROLINA and the heart of a wonderful community. There is no shopping mall, though the locals think you mean Wal-Mart if you say you are going to the mall. (People got excited when it became a Super Wal-Mart!) The truck stop was just remodled and now has a Dairy Queen to eat at. The best parts of Davie County however are not well advertised. For example, The Bullhole. It is a small dam across the South Yadkin River where all the teenagers used to go ha...
