In order to fully enjoy a sunset or sunrise in OBX (Outer Banks, North Carolina), you must leave the house.  This is the beautiful walkway that leads to the beach.  I love the way the tree canopy envelopes you as you pad along the boardwalk planks.   This is a photo taken just as the sun started to rise.   You have to walk up a flight of stairs in order to get to the beach.  This is a photo taken from the top of the deck that overlooks the dunes and the beach.   Sunrise through the tall sea grass. The colors are just magnificent! Aren't these just great?   And now begins the sunset photos--taken on the sound side of OBX.  Doesn't matter where you are, they are just spectacular.   Flowers on the dune catching the last bit of sun before it disappears...   Just awesome!   Thanks for stoppi... 06/10/2013
