When I foud out the owner's of Brazwell's and the All American Pub, both located in Charlotte were opeing up Jack's Corner Tap in the Lake Norman area, I knew it would be great! When I went there recently, I wasn't disappointed. The food wasn't your average bar food, I loved the fact that I could find a lot of great options - try the tacos ;-) They have a ton of TVs and a great atmosphere.  Definitely a great option for this Sunday's Super Bowl!   01/29/2015

I love exercising, especially running.  While I will run on the treadmill at the gym, I'd rather run outside and my favorite place to run in the Lake Norman area is Jetton Park located in Cornelius.  The park is right off of Catawba Ave. and Jetton Rd. and is easy to find.  The tranquil trail intertwines the lake and natural foliage which is perfect for running, walking and biking. 01/27/2015

The Lake Norman area offers a lot of great areas to live but Cornelius is a perfect middle location and one of the most accessible communities is Blue Stone Harbor. There's great shopping right around the corner and there is a community marina with deeded boatslips in Blue Stone Harbor besides may other wonderful ammenities.   01/27/2015

As Spring approaches, I think about being on Lake Norman. One of the best condominium communities in the area is Admirals Quarters, located in Cornelius.  This community offers many prices and styles of condos and has great lake access.  King's Point Marina is a great place to keep your boat as well.. I love finding great home decor shops that offer great items at all different price points and one that comes to mind is Dutchman's in Cornelius.  Whether you are in the market for a new custom fabric sofa or want to order a beautiful distressed Bramble dining set or just want a great scented candle to adda little something to your home, Dutchman's really has it all. I love anything shabby chic or distressed and this specialty boutique is always my favorite go-to spot. 01/26/2015

While running errands the other day, I decided to stop in at Luna's in Cornelius. I have always loved their clothes and jewelry but I also love the staff. Everyone is always so helpful and genuine and even though I have been super busy and haven't been there in a while, they always remember my name. Also,  whoever does the buying is always on point when it comes to the carrying great brands, tailored designer items and unique jewelry.  It's a great go to for a nice specialty piece to add to your wardrobe. 01/22/2015

I am really excited for the Publix opening soon in Cornelius, NC in the lake norman area. It's slated for grand opening on February 4th, 2015.  I remember how great Publix was when I lived in Florida years ago.  I loved their produce and specialty items. I just went to the new Waterbean Coffee place and it's spacious and the coffee is delicious. Not your ordinary coffeehouse. Very convenient location to Jetton Road area in Cornelius.
