I noticed today while perusing the 'Q&A' section of AR a question about comments. I found it interesting. The question was asking if there was a way to approve comments before they show up on your blog. Valid point. I think it might be a good feature to have here, at least give users the option. The only ways to avoid having any comments now is to completely disable commenting altogether, or delete them each time if you don't like a particular comment for some reason, whichcould become tedious depending on how popular your blog is. I realize that very few users would deny commenting on their blogs, but obviously if the question is out there, there must be some sort of need. The user who posed the question said they felt like they were getting 'spam comments'. While mildly annoying and u...

Did you see it? Did you?! Can you believe it? Just as I was about to change the channel and give up on the guys (I know, how could I? Never again, I promise.), they pulled a rabbit out of their hat. They don't call them the Cardiac Cats for nothing, I guess. 20-17 was the final score, and that was one of the better second halves I've seen in a while. So, great job Panthers! My pep talks are apparently working. You're welcome. For more on Carolina Panthers football, or homes for sale in Charlotte, contact the Carolina Home Pros Team at RE/MAX Metro Realty.

Unfortunately I was distracted and missed the observance of the moment of silence this morning in honor of the tragic events that befell our nation on September 11, 2001. But I think that this whole day will be filled with memories and mixed thoughts, for everyone. So, I just wanted to do my part and post a little something in honor of those who's lives were lost, those who helped to save lives that day, those who lost loved ones, and those who continue to strive and fight for our freedom. God Bless Everyone.

I just came across this article from the Observer. It's interesting to me to learn about what other industries are doing to compensate for the shifts that every market is going through. Not that it makes me feel better, I do not revel in other's misery, it just forces me to think outside the box a bit, gain new perspective. If anything, the challenges we are all experiencing bring us closer together, no matter if you're trying to sell houses or sugar. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/136/story/183123.html So I ask you, in what ways have you had to rethink what you're producing?

I had the pleasure of eating at one of Charlotte's most well known restaurants last night,RuSan's. Located on Park Rd, near the intersection of Park and Scott, in the Dilworthneighborhood. RuSan's offers many types of sushi, as well as traditional Japanese cuisine. This place is delicious. It's been around for years, is very popular among Charlottecitizens, and recently expanded, nearly doubling it's space. Be sure to check it out, kick back with a Kirin (beer) and a rainbow roll.

And that might not be such a bad idea. With the waters of Lake Norman and Lake Wylie becoming more crowded each year, safety is a concern. Lake Norman has had more accidents and safety issues than any other North Carolina body of water. There are plenty of places that offer safety training and basic boating education (NC Wildlife Resources Commission), but at this point it's all elective. If a new law is passed, which wouldn't be for months, a standard 8 hour class might become the norm. This would most certainly make a day on the lake safer and more fun. For information on Lake Norman realty or Lake Wylie homes for sale, contact the Carolina Home Pros Team at RE/MAX Metro Realty.

Yes, the boys did it again. What a game, I have to say. They deserve even more of a shout out than I gave them last time. Seriously, I think I heard the whole city of Charlotte scream when they scored that final point. Unreal. So, I guess the advice I imparted last time I talked about the Panthers worked. Keep it up guys, get along (or at least fake it), and know that we're rooting for ya. Go Panthers!!!

As a Charlotte native I can't help but think that this is a great area to live in. We are only 2-3 hours to the NC Mountains or 2-3 hours to the NC/SC Coast.  The weather her is great, now I can say I wish we did not have the humdity, but still our winters are not bad.  Fall is my favorite time of the year. Taking a trip to the NC Mountains in October to the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the leaves change is beautiful! Pack a lunch and enjoy the day. The beach is also really nice during this time of the year. Interested in finding out more about the Charlotte Metro area give me a call at 704-219-2417 or email me at jdowning@kw.com Visit my website for links to about the area or to search for properties: www.Downinghomesales.com
