Atlantic Beach NC is such a great place to get away! Many, many, visitors to Carteret County are second home owners that jump in the car at the end of a hectic work week, hop on the highway and arrive at the Crystal Coast in a relatively short amount of time. The sea breeze and blue skies melt away the past weeks stresses and come Monday- batteries are recharged and it is just a quick trip back home. This is a common lifestyle for NC residents.
