Kinderberry Hill Announces Children Book Drive Benefit               In honor of “Read Across America Day”, Kinderberry Hill Child Development Center, Woodbury, announces a Children’s Book Drive to benefit the local nonprofit organization Read Indeed.   The Children’s Book Drive will take place February 20 to March 2, 2012.  The community is encouraged to bring donations of new and gently used children’s books to Kinderberry Hill, located at 1205 Woodbury Drive, during business hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Read Across America Day is an annual event that encourages adults to take time to read with a child.  It is celebrated on the anniversary of Dr. Seuss’ birthday, March 2.  Read Indeed was started by Maria Keller, a book-loving 6th grader from Plymouth, MN.  Maria wants to make the worl...

Woodbury MN Stonemill Farms Information Center - Durham Executive Group           The above photo is of Newland Commuities original Stonemill Farms Information Center. This property was used as the Stonemill Farms Information Center for a number of years during the early phases of Stonemill Farms development until the Durham Executive Group sold it as a single family home for them. Woodbury MN Year End 2011 Housing Statistics - Durham Executive Group         Woodbury MN year end 2011 (Jan thru Dec) housing statistics for both zip codes 55125 and 55129 show a continued drop in overall sale prices and a slight up tick to Days on Market Until Sale. A positive is that the overall number of Woodbury homes for sale declined significantly placing the Woodbury MN housing market in what is considered a balanced market. A balanced market is considered when the total monthly supply of homes for sale is between 5 - 6 months. The current monthly supply of homes for sale in Woodbury as of the end of December was 5.8. 2012 Woodbury Home Sale Activity - Durham Executive Group     The Durham Executive Group has seen strong buyer and selling activity already in early 2012. We had buyers purchase a Woodbury home and closed on it January 3rd, which just might have been the first home closed in Woodbury in 2012 following New Year's Day when title company offices are closed. We have picked up several other buyer's in Woodbury who are preparing to purchase a home this spring, as well as a Woodbury listing that will go on the market later this year.   Combine this with another buyer closing on a home in White Bear Lake in February, and another buyer closing on a home in River Falls on February 3rd.
