Ever since the killing of Bin Laden, Pakistan seams to have a bigger chip on their shoulders aimed at the Americans. WE give this country Millions of dollars every year in aid and support.  I am a firm believer that the government KNEW that Bin Laden was in this hiding place. This new development really supports my belief.  I think it is time to cut the purse strings.  Not only on this country but any of these countries that are taking our aid but are making it harder on us while we are in their country trying to make things better for them and the people of the world. Just my thoughts for today!

I feel sorry for some of the critters in these pictures. Some child is telling MOM that a cow stole his car! May as well milk this one before releasing her. This looked like a great spot to see from. If he only looked to his left, he could see the open window. Going up was a cake walk. What could have been so good in there. BAAAAAD decision! The second part of the title.

Mother Nature has blessed us with Moisture,  2 inches since last night.  The one thing different is that it is LIQUID moisture.  The pond in my back yard isn't white and it is overflowing. This new rain has set me back about two weeks now for building my new Building.  Clay ground does not dry out real quickly. But, at least I can say that all the rest of my buildings are still in one piece.  I could complain about the set back, but, heck...I have seen a lot worse in other areas. I am looking at going and helping somewhere with the rebuilding.  I believe it is the least I can do while I wait to do my own.

I was informed today, that the picture below is missing from our gardens. Even the bright light that surrounds these flowers is missing. Now, normally I may complain but I am thanking GOD that this is all that is missing from our yards and gardens. I pray for the people who have lost their homes and suffered real personal losses in the last few weeks.  Our bit of dreary weather is still better than thousands others in the south. God be with them!

If you ask me, this is a trap.  Men, be very very careful! A couple we walking down a sidewalk and come across a young couple on a park bench Kissing passionately. "Why don't you do that?" asked the wife. '"Because" replied the husband. "I don't even know her." Smart man!!!

Talking with my Grand Daughter this evening she talk about a friend who failed in a task that they were doing. We talked a bit more and I told her that her friend didn't just fail, they also succeeded. "How" she asked. Well, your friend succeeded in failing to complete the task.  Not all successes are GOOD!  Not all failure is bad.  I failed to run through a yellow light today, but succeeded in not getting hit by the car that took off early. Success comes in many colors.  We just have to look color that looks the best on us.

A great and profitable day was today.  So let's end it with a bit of humor... A lady walks into to psychiatrists office and lies down on the sofa. "What seams to be the problem" the Doc asks. " Well, I think I' m a nymphomaniac, " she replied. "Well, I think I can help you, but I must tell you that my fee is $80 an hour." "That's reasonable", says the lady..."How much for all night?" Have a great night all!

"Who's winning, why the team with the most points, that is who." I am sure that my wife's question was just to see If I was alive and coherent or just a zomie in front of the tube. I am half ways watching the game and putting a jig saw puzzel together.  "How can you watch teh game and still work on the puzzle?" she asked me. "It is called multi-tasking!  I listen like it is a radio and then watch the important replays and commercials." Hey...it works for me!

I received this in an E-Mail.  It does make a lot of sense to me!  I do not know the source of this, but the point is still valid! A lady asked a young neighboring little girl what she wanted to be when she grew up.  "I want to be President."  Both parents, liberal Democrats were standing by beaming with pride. "If you were President, what is the first thing you would do," asked the lady. The little girl replied..."I would give food and houses to all the homeless people."    Her parents again beamed with pride. "Wow", said the lady.  "That is a lofty goal.  But you don't need to wait until you are President to do that.  You can come over to my house, pull weeds and sweep the drive and I will give you $50.  Then, I will take you down to the grocery store where a homeless man sits and you...

It is True...the postal service needs help.  Many people claim it is miss management and maybe it is. But, how many of us send a letter to a loved one instead of an E-Mail today.  How about a animated E-Card instead of a real card.  (Hallmark is hurting because of this also.) On line banking.  How many bills do you pay on-line or do direct payment instead of mailing them in.  If you do the auto pay, that is two stamps the post office loses, If it weren't for Junk mail today, the post office would be a thing of the past.  So we all need to help.  This is what I do.  I get all this junk mail that request a reply.  6-10 credit card offers a week.  I take and blot out my name, stuff the response letter in the envelope and send it back.  The card companies pay a bulk fee for every returned e...

I was in bed early...11 pm.  ( Well, that's early for me. ) I woke up at my normal time of 4 am.  OK, my normal time for Deer hunting Opener.  But, this year (and last as I now remember) Starts an hour later because we have not turned our clocks back.  The alarm would have gone off at 5, but I shut it off as not to wake Sleeping Beauty! Although, I have little doubt that she knows I am already up. Now, I am not sure if it is the early hour or if I am going crazy, but may main thought has left me.  If someone else would get up 3 hours earlier than normal for themselves, try and write a blog and then let me know if it is as hard as I think it is. Have a great weekend and everyone remember to set your clocks back tonight.  Oh yea..almost forgot, don't forget to set your clocks back.  I gue...

No, the snow isn't in the immediate forecast, but it is not far away.  This is a warning call for all you yard People.  You know who you are, the grass is cut just so, lighter colored grass is given extra fertilizer so it will color out.   ( I will put myself into this category loosely) Fall is one of the best times to get that root building food on the grass and shrubs.   Once you have the leaves picked up and the grass cut down to the winter height you want, then it is time to apply the food.  Some say a weed and feed is good now also, but I have never seen a any benefit in that. If you have never fertilzed in the fall but think that you might, stop at a good lawn and garden retailer and get some advice.  Soil types and climate will play a big roll in the type you put on.  Now, don't ...

This is the second time I have heard of where social media has turned a family upside down.  A casual friend of mine shared this with me. It seams that the need to keep a current entry in a Face Book site for one teen was so intense that when she heard part of a conversation about a family member she put the news on her Face Book site.  The information was Totally wrong.  It was picked up by others on their site and put onto their site, and so on.  It went to many friends and relatives of the person the news was about. The person the news was about had been doctoring because they had not felt good.  NO results had come back yet.   But, this person got a call from a close realative who was crying and saying how sorry they were that this person had terminal cancer.    When asked how they ...

Well, just when you think that you have a hobby that you can enjoy, and then, someone sets a bunch of rules.  NO, I am not talking about the fisheries department, I am talking about other fishermen... Rules of Fishing: 1. The least experienced person always catches the biggest fish. 2. The worse your line is tangled...the better the fishing around you is! 3. Fishing will do a lot for a man, but it won't make him truthful!  This Northern was 36" and weighed 9 pounds!

Neither is this over weight old Realtor.   We were visiting family this weekend and after some Mini Golf, My wife and I love to play ...  but my brother-in-law almost never plays...He beat the pants off of us all.  After we were done with that, I seen the batting cages.  AHHH, now here is one I can do.  I turned down scholarships to play baseball. This was only a softball cage, but what the heck.  So as you can see, I lost my form (I am 40 pounds heavier) and my vision is poor, and I was really glad that is wasn't a baseball cage. I missed the 1st one but hit all 15 of the next bunch.  Now when I go back to the gym to work out on Monday, I need to change my routine because I had a few very sore muscles. Well, I thought you could share in the laugh.

No, not usual, but not uncommon either.  Our fishing opener is normally around this time of year, Next weekend this year.  Back in the 60's and 70's, it would snow 2of 5 opening days.  In current times, we haven't seen snow on the opener since '97. We are seeing a glaze on some of the side streets.  No big deal, except for the fact...we have not seen snow since the end of February.  Most people, especially the young have forgot how to drive on the white stuff. It won't be long, and I know the police scanner will be screaming about some fool in the ditch. Please, slow down and drive careful.  We have lost enough people in the last 10 days!!!
