No trespassing.I am seeing more and more signs going up as of late.Hunting seasons are upon us and because of some slobs,access to hunting lands is getting harder to find. Many people will allow your to  hunt especially FARMERS who have their grain stolen byGod's creatures.Access is easy, JUST ASK! Doing so does not mean you will get permission, but it will also keep youfrom trouble with the law!  09/09/2018

WE all get angry at times.But before we engage we need to think.So here is a good outline to follow... When getting angry at a person, stop and think before talking...If the person is your junior, count to 10 before talking.If the person is your equal, count to 30 before talking.If the person is your senior, count to 50 before talking.BUT...if the person is your wife...JUST KEEP ON COUNTING!!!!!!!!!! This works for me! 09/09/2018

Yes you really do need an inspection.When buying a foreclosure you never know what could be wrong.There are so many hidden things that could be wrong or sabotaged.Homeowners who lose their home many times are angry at the lender,Although it is not the lenders fault.Going into a foreclosure blind is not wise, it is careless. Same goes for the FSBO...GET AN INSPECTION!!! An inspection would solve this riddle... 09/08/2018

Well, it was bound to happen.The clients loved the property.They are ready to make an offer."Where is your pre-approval?"They had not gone to the bank yet like they said.So to teach the lesson, I did the offer without a preapproval. SHOT DOWN FLAT! Buyers very disappointed.  I told  them we will not look at homes until they go to the bank and I took them there!The got qualified for more than they thought they would and would have won the bid on the househad they followed my  instructions. DON'T EVEN LOOK AT HOMES FOR SALE unless you know what the bank has had to say!!!!  09/07/2018

It isn't just leaves and flowers that make up the color of the fall.This is also a color that I see a lot of in my yard.Many people work hard at getting rid of the stumps after a tree comes down.We don't. My wife uses them as pedestals for flower posts and Christmas decorations.The stumps also allow  a host of new life.As you can see, these mushrooms add a lot of color if only for a few days.    09/06/2018

Fall colors are appearing daily.But not all colors are from flowers.Our flowering crabs look great n the spring but right now they look just a s great.Not only that, the deer and other animals love the fruit.Some beauty comes from the fruit of the trees. Beauty comes in all kinds of ways, we just need to stop and see nature!  09/03/2018

I enjoy my morning fishing excursions a lot.Just me with my  blank mind.The other day my Grand daughter asked if she could go with. HMMM,  she isn't a chatty Kathy, so ok.Now she has not fished in 5 years.But there is no pressure on her.The pressure was on Grandpa!!! Without dragging the story out,just as we were going to go to shore...Bam!!!4 feet from the boat this big guy hits her lure.37 inch Northern Pike.  about 15 pounds.After a few photo's the big guy (or gal) was released and swam away! Pressure was off of Grandpa! Oh, and Grandpa caught enough fish to weigh about 1/2 the weight of the grand daughters! Looking for  a great fishing lake, a call to me at 651-674-5999 and let me lead you in the right direction. 09/03/2018

AS I get older I find things have really changed.First off, much of my clothes do not fit.It takes a lot longer to get to the mailbox and back...(I seldom jog anymore).I am not giving up yet, but... Wouldn't it be great if we could put ourselves in the dryer for 10 minutes,and come our wrinkle free and 2 sizes smaller?! 09/02/2018

Hunting seasons all across the Nation are starting.Now is the time to start to prepare.Especially those still thinking of buying land for hunting.It takes 3-5 weeks to close on a property.Many land owners will not let you do anything until the sale is final.WE ae starting to push the envelope on time.Many people go caught off guard last year and didn't get closed in time.Don't be in that group again this year. Wild life can be hard to spot at times|! 08/31/2018

Yes, I know that it isn't fall yet, but many of the fall flowers are starting to bloom.\It is great to see what survived the winter.But with the glowers blooming a bit early, I am looking for an early fall/winter.Acorns have fallen and that is about 2 weeks early.There are a lot of old wives tales, but many don't stack up to science.I am not going to worry about it, i am just going to roll wit the punches and enjoy the day.   08/31/2018

The caller said...I want a house and 2 or 3 acres.I dug deeper...Any reason for the land I asked.Yes, I want to have a horse or two. OK now we are getting somewhere.Here is the issue.Unless you are going to buy all the feed all year long, even 5 acres is barely enough.A pasture with a good growth of grass will be ok as long as we get rain to keep it watered and growing.An acre is not enough or the horse to excises. Even having just one horse on a 5 acre lot with a house and outbuildings when the dead of summer hits you will need to supplement the feeding.The type of land will play a big role in how much land you will need, For more information, contact me and I can  give you some ideas on the direction to go. 08/30/2018

I was talking with a client this evening who said he had to put of buying a larger home.Costs for private ins has gone through the roof and it is not looking better for the coming years.So, some procedures will be figured out to be cheaper to perform.The vasectomy is an example.    08/26/2018

The squirrel is a comical but also a thief when you talk to bird lovers.They are masters at getting into bird feeders.Some people look at these varmints and then come up with ideas to rid their feeders of these guys.Some trap and release miles away.The issue there is that may be how they got to there place to begin with,Enjoy these critters but watch that they stay away from your home and buildings  08/26/2018

One of the great past times in Minnesota is Fishing.It is easy and requires a very minimal investment.I hear people ask how was fishing.Some say great others say terrible. Well, that can vary form person to person.There is actually 2 separates aspects of this activity we call fishing. There is the Fishing part.   It is the part where you are trying to find and entice the fish to bite.That is fishing. Then there is the catching part.  That is the part where you actually get the fish to bite and you pull them in. The issue is people mix up the 2 meanings of fishing.there are two different aspects of fishing and when figure it out...you will enjoy the activity even  more!  08/25/2018
