Yes, that is exactly what I said to my newest sellers last night.  Their home just went on the market yesterday. A buyer just waiting for this type of listing found it within hours of putting the sign in the yard and going live on our MLS.  They called me to get details while we were on our way to take pictures and get measurements to enhance our listing on our web site and the Multiple Listing Service.  Then they called their agent and he scheduled a showing for 6 pm.    I received another sign call to show the property last night on my way over to my clients to present the offer the first buyer wrote. Wyoming Michigan is a large suburban community of Grand Rapids, MI.  Wyoming MI homes are moderately priced, which should make it an active market in this economy.     Obviously the lower price levels have affected the average (low price $54,200 vs high price of $236,835) I  assume some of the lowest price levels are bank owned foreclosures negatively affecting the market price. Millions of folks are out of work, gas prices have double since last year, home values are falling and we (congress) is wondering on what to do? Hell, I could talk to anyone on the street and they would have a more fiscal answer than what we hear at these staged news updates by our congressional leadership! Think of it another way...we have a Republican Lame Duck for President, lame more ways than one!  We have a Democratic controlled congress who is in the drivers seat playing politics with the future of America and we are supposed to think it is OK.
