This past summer I posted   De-Furnish or Re-Furnish Moving In or Moving Out Try Virginia's Rose in Eldersburg, MD  when good friends opened up this wonderful place that would help so many people.   Eye Candy at Virginia's Rose..15 minutes from Baltimore's Beltway! This weekend Linda had her holiday open house celebrating the first Christmas season for Virginia's Rose, I loved seeing the customers finding special treasures, the sound of laughter when the perfect item was discovered. So knowing me with my camera, here are photos to share.                                                                                Linda's tree below decorated with her own sheet music.                                                                                                                        ...

Welcome The Blassino Team to Active Rain.   Cathy and Adolfo Blassino of Long and Foster in Ellicott City have finally taken the plunge and decided to join Active Rain. We have had long conversations about the rewards that I have enjoyed thanks to my participation on Active Rain and they are eager to jump feet first into a new venture. They have decided they will be committed to the community of Eldersburg in Carroll County where they live and their three children attend school. Stop by and introduce yourself to them. They would very much appreciate it.

Are These Signs of the Times in Maryland? Are these signs of the times in Maryland? While driving out to Virginia's Rose in Eldersburg, MD the other day, I saw this group of real estate signs and had to do a  quick U-turn to snap this photo. This is one busy street corner with - count them - six signs! Are These Signs of the Times in Maryland? What kind of marketing is this? To me it looks like desperation. Can the sellers be that desperate? Can the agents be that desperate? Have any of them considered what message this is sending to everyone who passes by? It would be so much better for everyone if they could get together and show this community in a better light. Please don't let this be the  Signs of the Times in Maryland! 410-530-2400

De-Furnish or Re-Furnish  Moving In or Moving Out Try Virginia's Rose in Eldersburg, MD My job as a REALTOR® and Broker is to bring buyers and sellers together, to find that perfect home to fall in love with. (We wrote about that, you'll recall.) My friend Linda Szarko owns Virginia's Rose, a consignment furnishings shop, that  brings buyers and sellers together to de-furnish and re-furnish their homes. Lee and I visited the other day...what a great idea! (That's Lee with Linda, above) This wonderful shop is located in Eldersburg, MD, at 1720 Liberty Road in the Oklahoma Shopping Center. Plenty of parking and and so convenient, just 15 minutes from Baltimore's Beltway I-695 and only 10 minutes from I-70.  After three years in Ellicott City, MD, Linda moved to this new address with a la...

Just wanted to introduce myself to the Blog world.  I am looking forward to learning more about this and to meeting (exchanging comments) with those of you who have already discovered this.  I am with the Long and Foster office in Eldersburg, Maryland which was, by the way, recently ranked #56 of the top 100 places to live in the nation!!  Go Eldersburg!!  It is a great community and my kids love it, as do I.  I love being a real estate agent and helping people make their dreams come true!  I know it sounds cliche but that is what it is.  I love being able to be creative and listen to what people want and being able to provide it.  I have 3 girls (10, 4, 18 months) who I adore.  They are my inspiration!!Well, just wanted to give an introduction.  Will post more later.  Take care and hop...
