Civic Pride Alive and Well in Catonsville! The "can do" volunteer spirit is alive and well in Catonsville!  It was in full force the other day as I drove around a traffic circle near Westchester Elementary and Catonsville Middle.  One adult and a few children were digging, planting and watering to beautify the center island.  I actually stopped and admired the work for a few minutes.   They had a sign to encourage the community to drop off plants and bulbs and they would plant them   It was such a cool thing to see - just some local folks who wanted to do their part to improve their neighborhood.That traffic calming circle was really needed - lots of kids cross busy Old Frederick Road to get to school.  Its' construction resulted in much community discussion - mostly from frustrated dri... 11/12/2012
