Back then, a staff member at a local nursing home spoke of how little happiness their residents were experiencing. he teared up. That comment stuck. So the idea was born: bring Santa to them, not the other way around, and do it in a way no one would forget.The first year, a handful of decorated Jeeps rolled through with Santa waving from the convoy.
