It was good news that we received this past week about our local real estate market.  Although both the nation and statewide trends still show negative numbers, we're in one of those areas that is defying the trend.  Our local area of Quincy, Milton, Hingham had sales increases in January, along with parts of Suffolk and Plymouth Counties.  Not only have the agents in our office, Century21 Annex Realty, been reporting more activity, but so has our affiliated real estate school.  Enrollment in Annex Real Estate School has also picked up since the beginning of the year.  This has been especially true of the pre-licensing class that prepares students for the Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson exam.   03/04/2009
