Salvi’s has been in Newton MA forever. It was once on Galen St. It is now at 386 Watertown St. in The Lake (village of Nonantum.) Their phone no: 617-332-8490, but you don’t need to call. Just walk in. Half the fun is the ten minute wait. Salvi’s hours are: Tues. 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wed. 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thurs. and Fri. 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sat. 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Cash is accepted and there is handicap access.Salvi’s is a Newton MA institution.
