Needham Restaurant - The Center Cafe Today the Needham Real Estate brokers had the pleasure of dining at The Center Cafe.  Our Manager Bill Dermody of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sponsored the lunch after our Broker Caravan.  It was a great luncheon and they could not have been more cordial to us all.  The wait staff served us so nicely.  The meal was just great and included a basalmic dressed salad, salmon, great chicken with a compote of something wonderful that had cranberries in it, and lasagne. The meal was complete with coffee and that was really great. Needham, MA Olin College & Some Super Restaurants Before I tell you about Olin College dining services I want to go back to the 1930's.  At that time my husband's uncle and family lived right there where the campus was.  The original administration building was their actual house.  There is a lot of history right there but especially for my husband's family.  There his uncle not only raised his family that to this day enjoy showing and riding horses, they also started the fence business my husband has worked in for 40+ years.  The business was relocated to Framingham and now to Southboro.  It was too noisy for the neighborhood. Needham, MA Today's Luncheon At Comella's Well we had a very delicious luncheon today at Comella's.  It was a nice treat on a terribly rainy day in Needham, MA.  It was nice to break after previewing  new properties to the real estate market.  We were packed in inspite of the weather.  The meal was quite yummy.  This is a great restaurant for take-out or informal lunch or supper.  It is very convenient to the center of Needham.  Good spot to meet a friend for lunch or bring the kids on a day off from school.  Just a fun spot.  The menu is so huge and a work of art of the big wall as you come in the door. Needham, MA Needham Bowlaway   Recently I took my 2 grandsons to the Needham Bowlaway.  They loved it and want to go back.  If you need something to do with the children before they return to school on Monday this is a great place to go.  My grandsons are 10 and 6.  The bowlaway was a blast for them.  I liked it because they were not distracted by those games that are at the movies and other bowling places and it is right here in Needham.
