Here are the latest statistics on the real estate market for single family homes for sale in Malden:The median sales price for homes in Malden has recently leveled off at $285,000. The orange line shows you the average days on market. This number increased sharply during our very snowy winter but is now showing a nice downward trend.According to MLSPin approximately 20% of all of the properties for sale in Malden are either short sales or foreclosures so this is having an affect on the market. (This number includes single family homes, condos and multi family properties.)

The Ledgewood Estates is a mid-size townhouse development located in the Forestdale section of Malden, MA.  Nice landscaping welcomes you as you enter the development.  This well maintained complex was built in two phases.  The first buildings  were built in 1973 as rentals.  The second phase waas built in the early 1980's.  Although the original purpose of the complex was rental property, it now boasts a very high owner occupancy rate.
