Webb is still emotional over the tragic death of a local mother of four which was caused by a poorly maintained clothes dryer vent   Webb Dickson interviewed last summer; he responded to a news report of a recent dryer fire that took the life of a mother of four.  The courageous woman died after saving her daughters while her two boys were able to climb out a window and have neighbors call 911.  Unfortunately, the woman was unable to escape before firefighters could respond.  "Dryer vent lint is very combustible and a fire will burn hot and spread quickly," Webb explained.  "I was very saddened by this news; this tragedy could have easily been prevented.  Most people are not aware that their clothes dryer is more likely to cause a fire than their furnace or stove."   Webb Dickson is the...

The number of single family homes sold in Concord, MA during the month of November decreased by more than half from 14 sold (2007) to 6 homes sold in 2008. The average selling price decreased by one third from $935,368 in 2007 to $632,758 in 2008.  The average DOM (Days on Market) increased to 142 days from 121 in 2007.

The number of condominiums sold in Concord, MA during the month of October increased from 1 sold (2007) to 5 homes sold in 2008. The average selling price increased from $333,750 in 2007 to $360,222 in 2008.  The average DOM (Days on Market) increased dramatically to 144 days from 9 in 2007.

Concord, MA Real Estate Market Report - October 2008 The number of single family homes sold in Concord, MA during the month of October increased sharply from 6 sold (2007) to 10 homes sold in 2008. The average selling price dropped 1% from $709,167 in 2007 to $702,776 in 2008.  The average DOM (Days on Market) dropped significantly to 157 days from 178 in 2007.
