It seems that every day we are inundated with bad news about the economy and in particular, the housing market.  However for our Concord, MA real estate market, it could be good news for anyone looking to purchase a home.  In fact, now might just be the best buying opportunity in our lifetime.  Recently, in a Forbes blog, multimillionaire hedge fund manager John Paulson stated that today’s record-low interest rates made this the best time to buy homes in fifty years. “If you don’t own a home, buy one,” Paulson said. Here are some things to consider as you begin the process of purchasing a home. 1.  What is your budget?  How much are you comfortable spending for a monthly mortgage payment?  Talk to your insurance agent to get a sense of insurance costs.  What are the real estate taxes f...

Concord Massachusetts, 375th Birthday Parade It was a perfect day for a parade; it was sunny with blue skies, and the temperature was just right. My plan for the morning was to walk a 3 1/2 mile loop, my normal routine, and end in Concord Center to snap photos of the event. Just before entering the center, one of the police officers on duty greeted be and told I was late! The streets were filled with many excited onlookers as all the local, colorful, and musical exhibits passes by. Happy Birthday Concord!

Concord, Massachusetts is known for their history, famous authors such as Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau.
