This weekend Lakewood we will be hosting The Mackel - The Men's Amateur Championship of New Orleans.  This is a very prestigious amateur golf championship.  I am glad to say we have junior golfers competing, we also have a over 50 division.  This championship represents all ages, a celebration of growing golf.We won't have class tomorrow.  However, you are welcome to come out after 12:30 and play The Short Course and practice.  I will be here, I am sure I will have a little time to say hello and watch you practice.  You can also watch the championship, a good experience to be around a championship.This week I had the pleasure to give Elise Bradley a golf lesson.  She is the number one ranked girl golfer in Louisiana, two time state junior champion and she won the state women's amateur c... 10/28/2011
