Kenner / Destrehan LA Snow Day 2008 Snow is very rare in Southeast Louisiana. Today it snowed in Kenner LA, by mid morning the snow was starting to take. In other parts of the country they are asking what the big deal is. In Southeast Louisiana the big deal is most have not seen snow nor know how to operate in the snow. Most students stayed home and play, for that matter most adults were no shows at work. This was the earliest in recorder time that it has snowed in New Orleans. The last time it snow was Christmas Day 2004. Naturally it would snow the day I was planning to go Christmas Shopping. As the song goes Let It Snow! Merry Christmas     12/11/2008
