The project is progressing nicely. Today my AC men install new AC in the building. The floor has been complete and new 5 ¼ base board is starting to go down. The exterior walls (North Side) were painted today. Some time an investor has to put in some sweat equity. So today along with a help we started landscaping. I do not do much work on property. My biggest problem has always been keys. When showing a property to a potential renter, I will go through several keys until I find the right key for entry. This soloution was easy. The Avante Garde Condos in Kenner are one of your better choices of Condos in the New Orleans Metro area where you can get a tow bedroom in the 140-160 range depending upon the updates. Its a gated community that is well established with an easy commute to Metairie and to New Olreans. The condo fees are very resaonable and the taxes are fairly low. If you live in your unit that you pay 150k for your property taxes are less than $800 for a year. Your condo fees are about $180 per month, much less then home owners insurance alone. Most people I sell are not going to be living here forever but its much better than paying rent to someone else.
