One of the great things about living and working on the West Bank is the fabulous festivals we can go to each year without ever crossing the river.  The Gretna Heritage Festival in downtown Gretna, LA is a 3 day event scheduled this year for October 5, 6 & 7, 2007.The Krewe of Choctaw (of which I am a proud member) will once again be there manning a fund raising booth, selling our famous shrimp po-boys and whatever new offering the chefs come up with.  Although hard work, it's always a good time, especially when you get to ask a tourist if they want their sandwich "dressed" just to see the look on their faces :)  Plus, it allows the club to make donations to various charities with the profits!  Hope to see you all there.Visit www.gretnafest.com for all of the details on this year's even... 08/21/2007
