Looks like the old Kitty's Nusrey on Brownsboro Rd is going to eventually be transformed in to 170 residential condos. This is on Louisville's East End off Hwy 22 near Goose Creek. Building was going to start this year but with the slowing of the market, the developer is looking to start next year or in 2010. With a huge number of MLS search options available to the average consumer one can quickly become overwhelmed with homes and lose sight of the big picture.  For example, the free MLS search tools we find in the Louisville, KY area all offer extremely detailed parameters that can reduce your results returned down to just a few homes.  While for some this can be very beneficial and time-saving, it can also exclude quite a number of suitable homes from the results. Woodmont is another up-scale, east end neighborhood that got its start at the beginning of the new millenium. Off Old Henry Road, Woodmont is close to expressways but still feels like it's in a private setting away from commercial clutter. The Belknap Neighborhood is located 5 miles SE of Downtown Metro Louisville Kentucky.  In the 2000 census it was stated to have 3,630 people with 55% being female and 58% being college graduates.  Bellermine University, a small private Libral Arts College is located on the Boundary of the Belknap Neighborhood.  The area was largely undeveloped until the very early 1900's.  In fact at the intersection of Douglass and Bardstown Road there was a stagecoach stop called Two Mile Horse!  I am sitting right there now writing this blog.  St Francis of Assisi was one of the first churches in the area and is still an active and vibrant neighbor in the area.  One of my favorite Highlands events is the blessing of the animals at SF.  Animals of every kind show up for their blessings and treats! Nestled just 3 miles southeast of downtown Metro Louisville lies the beautiful Highlands Neighborhood of Tyler Park.
