Found some interesting facts when I was killing time online. Thought I would share them. ENJOY! A shrimp's heart is in its head. Rats multiply so quickly that in 18 months, two rats could have over a million descendants! Wearing headphones for just a hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times! If the government has no knowledge of aliens, then why does Title 14, Section 1211 of the code of Federal Regulations, implemented on July 16, 1969, make it illegal for a U.S. citizen to have any contact with extraterrestrials or their vehicles? In every episode of Seinfeld there is a Superman somewhere! A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why not?! Canadian researchers have found that Einstein's brain was 15% wider than normal. SHIPSHEWANA-is located in the north western section of LaGrange County.  It was incorporated in 1916 and the town was named for Chief Shipshewana of the Potawatomi tribe that lived in the area. Shipsheweana has a strong religious history.  The first settlement of Amish came to the area from Pennsylvania in 1844-many demoninations have settled in and around the area. The population is about 540, with a police department and volunteer fire department.  Students attend Shipshewana-Scott Elementary School and Meadowview Elementary while the 5th through 12th grades attend Westview Junior and Senior High School.

HOWE was the first white settlement in LaGrange County, Indiana in 1834 then known as Mongoquinong because of the Potawatomi Indians who were native to this region.  the name was changed to Lima and then to Howe, afer John B Howe, a founder of the community's first bank.  The Howe Military School was founded in 1884-it is a military school with co-educational military private college preparatory boarding school for students in grades 5 through 12.  The school is located on SR9 in Howe, Indiana and is affiliated with the Episcopal Church.  The St James Chapel (which I have posted a photo) has hand-carved interior and holds recitals and concerts which are open to the public. Howe also has a United Methodist Church as well as the Lima Presbyterian Church establised in 1833 (photo posed). T...
