The Indianapolis historic homes of Meridian Kessler are sure to impress even the most skeptical of tourists or newcomers. A bland mid-Western city? Indy is anything but! A leisurely drive down Meridian Street between the neighborhood's north and south borders of Kessler Boulevard and 38th Street yields glimpses of stately homes built in the 1920s and set along tree-lined streets that are just minutes from downtown, Butler University, Broad Ripple, and many more Indy attractions. Once the equivalent of an Indianapolis suburb, Meridian Kessler homes are still among Indy's most prestigious real estate. Many of these vintage homes have been beautifully restored and renovated.
