The Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program was created by the International Association of Chiefs of Police to meet a need for reliable, uniform crime statistics for the nation. The FBI eventually was tasked with collecting, publishing, and archiving those statistics. Thankfully, there are several statistical publications where people can view the statistics. A nice tool for comparing school districts. The Daily Herald has produced a chart of the different school districts. It shows the percentage of graduating high school seniors who are academically prepared to succeed in first year college courses. The info is listed by county, so it makes it easy to find information.
