Glenview IL is certainly a fine place to live, raise a family and has a lot to offer but the Glen really shines in many ways.  The Glen is located in a part of Glenview where the Naval Air Station was a major part of the community for many years. In 1995 the base closed and the land deeded back to Glenview by the US Department of Defense.
