Although I haven't been blogging as regular as I had been, I consistently use Activerain on a daily basis. Most recently for a pretty nice home in Utah. I posted the need for some assistance out that way, and within 10 minutes I had about 15 responses! Had to delete it after I had plenty to interview and choose from at that point. This morning when I logged in, I noticed a big 50,001 in points. I still have a long way to go to join the ranks of the 250k+ club, but at this rate I might see it in the next 12 months. I enjoy reading all the post's and blogs and  the information and support from everyone is top notch. I just wish I would have found Activerain sooner in my career. I love fall in Boise, Idaho.  The weather cools, the leaves change and the holiday seasons begin.  Memorial Day marks the beginning and typically is a busy work weekend for us.  Halloween is on it's way and my 22 month old will be dressing up for the first time (she is going to be a lion - she picked it out herself).  This was last year at Farmstead With fall comes fun local things to do like the Pumpkin Parches and Corn Mazes.  Last year we went to The Farmstead in Meridian just off of Eagle Rd by I-84 and this year we are going to check out Linder Farms (Corn Maze of the Boise Broncos) in Meridian.  It's a great local family event.  Check it out and enjoy your fall! 10/17/2012

Northwest MotorfestBoise, Idaho, USA7/13/2012 - 7/15/2012 Idaho's largest car show/event and 3rd largest throughout the Pacific Northwest! At the Fairgrounds. Well over 1,000 hot rods, muscle cars, classics and antiques parked on the grass. This automotive event is more like a state or county fair. Northwest Motorfest is family-friendly and alcohol-free. The cruise on Saturday Nighthas usually been in downtown Boise. This year its been moved to Meridian!! Boise dropped the ball and gave away their annual slot to another even. They offered up a Friday Night Cruise, but instead, opted for Meridians first HOT ROD cruise! Being a big car buff, I can't wait. Its all over the news in Idaho. But did you know the cat's out of the bag? National publications are talking about it. Other agents & lenders I have spoke to out of the area have heard it to. We really were the last to see the fall of Real Estate in the Boise Real Estate Market. And I said in may prior posts, we would be the first to recover. Or at least one of them. Meridian, Idaho is Pepsi nation.  Today I was waiting for an inspection to get over, my daughter was taking a nap in the car, so I was driving around town.  I had a craving for a diet coke and I couldn't find one anywhere!  4 different fast food restaurants in the same block - all of them Pepsi.  What?  Blimpie's Sandwiches. Pepsi Products. Wendy's. Pepsi.  Subway. Pepsi again.  Taco Time. Yep. Pepsi.   And, to throw it in my face even more, as I left the area I noticed a big Pepsi sign over our Meridian Speedway sign.
