My sign got featured in a Real Estate story on theClose.comAnother Realtor emailed me about the sign in this story, and I had no idea what they were talking about, so... went to the website to see what the big deal was.Funny thing though - the picture is a post from Instagram a few years ago, at a listing in Pukalani Maui.  The story claims it's a sign with magic techno powers!  They said "This pretty looking sign sitting in the bushes above? Kula 200 is one of the premiere neighborhoods in Upcountry Maui, situated where Pukalani meets Kula, and technically it's in Pukalani but it sure feels more like Kula.  Street names in Kula 200 include: Aulii Drive; Aulii Place; Poha Place; Lealea Place; Hoopalua Drive; Welina Place and Alokele Place.Lots of space:  This subdivision was created in the 1970's as an Agricultural subdivision to allow owners to build a house and cottage on a few acres.  It's well thought out with underground utilities and winding roads which give it a nice country feeling.  You can see goats grazing and lot of mature fruit orchards as you drive through this desirable neighborhood.  The homes are generally upscale with attractive landscaping.  Not everyone has built 2 homes on their 2 acres, so it's very low... 10/31/2017

I've always wondered why there's no goat milk ice cream.  You know, some people can't tolerate cow milk, but sheep or goat milk is usually fine.  Well today I found a vendor at the Upcountry Farmer's Market in Pukalani Maui who was selling goat ice cream!  They make it themselves at Haleakala Creamery, a boutique farm in Kula Maui.  Caramel sauce is their primary product.Of course I had to taste it to see if it was just a little goaty tasting, haha.  But it was no goaty, and it was just like "normal" ice cream. So don't be scared to try some goat ice cream if you get a chance, and especially if you're lactose intolerant.Not a good time to be buying it on a hot Saturday morning with other chores to attend to, but it will soon be available at local stores such as Mana Foods in Paia, where... 05/13/2017

Polo ponies and family fun for Halloween in Pukalani MauiAs a follow up to a previous post, I promised more pictures from the upcountry Maui polo field.  On October 31, 2016 the polo match was moved to the drier venue at the Manduke Baldwin field in Pukalani due to muddy conditions at the Oskie Rice Arena in Makawao.  The event was a benefit for the Children's Cancer Society here on Maui, and was well attended by local residents and visitors.  It was a beautiful and sunny day, with a few food vendors set up selling refreshments.  A silent auction was underway to raise more proceeds for the charity.  People bring their own chairs and shade, or tailgate to watch the action.The first match was for the small kids, with the little ones being led around on the ponies so they can experience th... 11/11/2016

I just sold this amazing home in 2691 Ulilani Way, Pukalani, Maui. Just an update of the Pukalani Terrace Center in Pukalani Maui Hawaii with some pictures to show what's available for shops and services as this convenient Upcountry shopping center.At the north end closest to the Old Haleakala Highway you've got the recycling and redemption center where you can bring in your bottles and cans for cash, or drop off your carboard, plastic, glass, etc. for recycling.Also at this end is Ace Hardware and the Bank of Hawaii.  You can plug in your electric car here while you do some shopping or banking, and I think it's still free to charge up.In the middle of the shopping center there are many restaurants and services. The Farmacy Health BarGet a great healthy lunch or cold drink at the Farmacy Health Bar in Pukalani Maui.
