Halloween on the Island of Maui Maui is big on Halloween, Lahaina front street is like an endless parade.Spreckelsville Maui is always a rager, with kids and adults dressing up and having fun. Best table in the house - our view from Mama's Fish House on MauiWe are very lucky to live close to one of the best fine dining restaurants on Maui, so whenever possible we love to have an early dinner or late lunch here at Mama's Fish House Restaurant.  During the daytime the views are just beautiful from this oceanfront setting, and when you have a front row table this is as good as it gets.On this afternoon the air was very clear and you can see the island of Molokai way off in the background. We just enjoy Labor Day on Maui, always a big holiday on Maui.  The beaches are packed with families, barbeques are blazing, volleyball nets are busy, just a fun day on Maui.My wife along with my granddaughters and pups were no exception about hitting the beach. We started out at a Kanaha Beach Park, where I love to windsurf, then walk around the coves until we found the perfect bay with no one around.I love these beachfront homes on Stable Road, no one was home, so we had the beach to our selves.I love this stretch of the beach in Spreckelsville Maui, I windsurf along these shores, it's just beautiful.All in all, it was a great Maui day.  Dogs were happy chasing sand crabs and swimming with us, we had a perfect beach day. While visiting Paia Maui, HI we stopped off to pay respect and send our blessing to the world by spinning the large prayer wheel inside the Buddhist Stupa. A fun fact learned while visiting was the 14th Dalai Lama blessed the Maui Dharma Center in Paia Maui. This is worth stopping in and contributing to the positive prayers send out to the world.   04/12/2017

Be sure to check out Paia Fish Market Restaurant in town. Do have patience if you stop by to grab a bit to eat as the line tends to form outside the restaurant doorway.
