Aloha Friday from Paia Maui - sugar cane train mural A hark back to days long gone by now, when sugar cane dominated the landscape and there was a railroad on Maui.  It's a nice painting on the side of an old building in the little seaside town of Paia.  Paia was once a busy hub of industry, with a sugar mill and a large population of workers.  That's Haleakala - House of the Sun - in the background. It doesn't look quite like this anymore on our lovely island of Maui, but many of us can remember those days.  Looking ahead, we have no idea what will take shape in the next few years.Now is the time when we can all practice ALOHA.  For the time being, please stay home and let's all do our part to keep everyone safe from the Corona virus.  If you happen to be looking for a home in Paia - s... 03/27/2020

Can you ever get tired of this beach scene at Kuau Maui?  It's not the first time, and it won't be the last, for me to show off this beautiful peaceful beach scene in front of Mama's Fish House in Kuau Maui Hawaii.  When we lived just a few houses away from this beach, I would walk to the beach every morning and comb the sand for seashells.  The tidepools are great for dipping in, with no worries about getting swept out to sea.If you ever get a chance to eat at this award winning restaurant, then you'll have to take time to enjoy this lovely spot by the ocean, along Maui's north shore.The beachfront restuarant itself is quite amazing, with outstanding food and service, and unique decor, so be sure to put this on your bucket list when you're visiting Maui.  It will be a memorable experie... 03/05/2020

Thankful for having a good job selling real estate on MauiBesides being thankful for the November Thanksgiving Challenge by Debbie Reynolds, I am thankful for many things at this time of year as I reflect back.  Having the ability to make a good living, while doing something I enjoy, is a real blessing.  Not everyone can say they love their jobs, but I can. This crispy whole fish at Mama's Fish House was a special of the day a few weeks ago, and was it ever delicious!
