It's a beautiful home in Makawao Maui, so why is it abandoned? I've seen this house in Maui Uplands the last time it was on the market and it was such a nice home, with great views!  It sold quickly for $1.1M in October of 2005. As I drove by 61 Ulana Street the other day I was wondering who lives there now, only to see signs of neglect in the driveway.  Then I spied the notices taped to the front door... uh oh that's not a good sign. Sure enough the house was abandoned and the locks had been changed.  Another foreclosure that will come on the real estate market at some point in the future, but we don't know when.
