In the back of Kamiloiki Valley are Miloiki Street and Miloiki Place and this is where the newer homes (built in the 1990's) are generally found.  Heading up the hillside there's often a trade off of view versus a flatter, usable yard.   This listing is at 230 Miloiki Place, a cul de sac.  The lot is mostly level and the house has views from the second floor towards the sea.  We won't call this an "ocean view" as a neighbor's roof obscures most of the ocean - the views of Kokohead and the surrounding valley are gorgeous though. My Favorite Honolulu Neighborhoods: Kamiloiki, in the Hawaii Kai Region of Honolulu Located at the top of Lunalilo Home Road and behind Koko Crater, Kamiloiki offers amazing views. Most homes were built in the 1980′s and 1990′s, with the average home consisting of three bedrooms, two baths and a two-car garage. The terrain here is hilly. Technically there are two sections to this area, Kamiloiki Estates and Kamiloiki Heights. Kamiloiki Estates consists of 78 smaller houses roughly 1,400 square feet in size, located at the mauka, or mountain end of Lunalilo Home Road. Most of these homes were built in the late 1970′s and early 1980′s. Since these homes are smaller and do not have ocean views, prices are moderate, comparatively speaking.
