Mrs. GarageGuy and I had the opportunity earlier this week to visit with Brendon Barclay, Executive Director of Sustaining Urban Villages.  Along with a score of other adults and kids (mostly homeschoolers…), we had volunteered our morning to help with the construction of an outdoor classroom. The purpose of the outdoor classroom is multi-fold.  In addition to learning about the biology of the forest, it is the perfect setting to learn about the interconnectedness of the environment… and it is even a pleasant place to study math or reading. Furbusters in Tucker Georgia Millie got her Christmas grooming done at Furbusters just before Christmas.  Furbusters is a pet salon and pet hotel on Main street in Tucker.  Millie is an English Springer Spaniel and has been a member of our family since May 2009.  She is about 19 months old and is an absolute delight. Millie's groomers were delightful and of course Millie had a wonderful afternoon at the salon.  I asked to have Millie clipped a bit short for a ESS as I like her to look neat (and she sheds so much!).  We left the fringes on her legs so she looks extra fast when she runs.
