Whenever I tell people about the beauty, peace and tranquility I have found in the North Georgia mountains, I'm frequently asked "Why did you choose here?". Let me start by saying we have traveled throughout the Rockies, in both the West and in Canada. Our family trips to the White Mountains have provided us incredible memories. For the first time, the rich traditions and the distinctive sounds of the north Georgia mountains are coming together for an unforgettable event, the Georgia Mountain Roots & Music Festival. The Festival will take place June 8 - June 10 at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.
