In the real estate world of chaos and disorganization, assistants seem like the must-have accessory of any upstanding agent. An assistant will cost you at least $10/hour but definitely more for a good one and a lot more for an amazing one who knows the business as well, if not better, than you do. Even at part-time, you're still spending $200/week minimum. As much as I love the real estate agent's penchant for writing down task lists in a pretty little notebook, it's a bit difficult to sort through all the items on the list when they are each placed randomly on different pages.
