I have been on a perpetual quest to lose weight since 1975. Yes, I realize that sounds amusing if it wasn't so true. Well, the Skinny Shake may just be one more option to aid me in my quest. Supposedly it tastes like a Wendy's shake, although, I haven't had one of those since about, well 1975... So what do you think? Here is the recipe...The Skinny Shake 3/4 cup Almond Milk (a staple for me) about 15 ice cubes 1/2 tsp Vanilla 1/2 Tsp unsweetened Cocoa powder 1/3 of a Banana BlendI use my vitamix, it comes out completely creamy. I blogged about how happy I am when I drive down the beach to work. Recently, there has been a very large crane out in the water off the beach in Satellite Beach and I thought that other people might be wondering what it was for. Here's the scoop...The US Army Corps of Engineers has been constructing artificial mitigation reefs  in Satellite Beach and will continue down into Indian Harbour Beach. These reefs are low lying concrete forms that are topped with coquina rock, and are located in about fifteen feet of water approximately 1,000 feet off the beach. The first reef site constructed was off of Pelican Beach Park. In total ten reef sites will be put in along the beach from Pelican Beach Park to just south of Futch Paradise Beach Park. I consider myself incredibily lucky because every morning I get into my car and drive 6 miles down the beach to work. If rain isn't in the forecast I drive the miata to work. As I cruise the down the beach, I can smell everything as I drive. I smell the gorgeous salt air that has always been one of my favorite scents in the entire world. When I drive by the local BBQ restaurant, I can smell the BBQ. When I drive by Paneras I can smell bread baking. It really doesn't matter what it is, I appreciate it. I always wanted a convertible and now I have one and I couldn't be happier. I wonder just how many people are as happy as I am when they drive to work in the morning and when they drive home at night.   08/22/2017

I don't know about you guys, but my Yorkies want some of whatever  I eat! My fur babies eat broccoli, beans etc. One of their favorite foods is mango. If they even see a mango they start drooling. So, that is why I think the above recipe is so cool. I can completely monitor everything that is in it. I make my own yogurt, so that is organic. Just make sure that your peanut butter does not contain Xylitol, which is deadly for dogs. My babies love bananas too, so that makes this doggy ice cream easy to prepare and good for your pups! 07/27/2017
