My buyer has a $500,000. home which I will list once he is OK with what he wants, which is a home with land where there is no HOA and he can build an additional garage behind the home...I found him 3, one his fiance really loves. Again today I was reminded of how important parks and green space are to the ambiance of downtown St Petersburg, Florida.  A prospect called from New Hampshire, interested in buying one of the downtown condos in St Pete, as a second home. He wanted the water view, of course, but also wanted to be adjacent to the green space. We're so lucky to have parks lining the waterfront, rather than a row of condos blocking the view to everyone else. It's likely to stay parkland as well, because when it was originally given to the City of St Petersburg, the restriction was that none of the land could be sold or long-term leased without approval of the citizens by a ballot referendum.
