Slower sales and slower price appreciation highlight the December 2018 #OrlandoRealEstate market results. Look for more of the same in 2019, in my opinion. We love to visit The Wilderness Lodge in Orlando.  This is one of the most beautiful Disney hotels in my opinion.  We try to stay there at least once during the year and visit every Christmas to admire the amazing Christmas tree that they have all decked out with wilderness and native American themed ornaments. We enjoyed a casual dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe and a few cocktails before dinner at The Territory Lounge.What I love about this hotel is the casual vibe in a family friendly atmosphere.  We have stayed here with my daughter Megan and her friends when they were growing up and have really enjoyed this hotel for many years.  The staff is very friendly and accomodating.  Another of our favorites, for "very" special ocassions is the Grand Floridian which is also a Disney Hot...

#1 Misconception: The New Construction Builders Agent is there to “help” you, the buyer.  Not so.  The New construction agent only works for the builder and their primary job is to “sell” you on the the community so you fall in love and want to buy in that community. Their loyalty, and confidentiality is only to the builder, never the buyer. Whatever you tell the builders representative will be passed along to the builder.  It is never their duty to give you “freebies” or lower the price. There are almost 500 Orlando Lakefront homes for sale in Orange county. Add to that the the surrounding counties of Seminole, Lake, Osceola, Polk and there are about 700 more lake homes to choose from. Lake county was named as such because it has over 1,200 lakes. Sales are down along with inventory compared with a year ago. Prices continue to trend up compared to 2017, but appreciation is slowing. Inventory is up month over month for the second month in a row, so we may be starting to see some changes coming to the #OrlandoRealEstate market.
