Early mornings are when I walk Kona, our chocolate Lab. We live in a Naples, Florida lake community, near the Everglades, and there are lots of critters (racoons, turtles, lizards, deer, alligators, armadillos & maybe even an endangered panther) in the area, so I am sure that her lingering over smells makes it more interesting for her. Just down from our cul-de-sac there is an open park with outdoor exercise equipment along the path. It is called “Passive Park”, which seems an unusual name for an exercise-themed park, but I like it even though my walks there are more “pensive” than passive.
