I AM THANKFUL FOR A DAY OF WORSHIP… SUN WORSHIP, THAT IS.  I am thankful for a day or worship… sun worship, that is, or a day at the beach, if you prefer. Either way, for a permanent resident of Connecticut and part time resident of Miami, a sunny, beautiful day of high seventies, low eighties in Miami is definitely a beach day. Not so for the locals, we looked like real “turistas” with our beach chairs on the condo elevator when everyone else was clad in long sleeves and pants. Oh well, they put parkas on kids when it’s 65 degrees outside.  With all our northern bravado, we did not go into the water; not many did and if so, not for very long. Up to our ankles was about enough. The water was a lovely, clear green; no seaweed in evidence; kind of cold. Oh, what happened to the young girl... 11/17/2016
