Which is the best type of property to buy: single family, duplex, triplex or apartment complex? Grills Seafood in Melbourne Florida was our stop on Friday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We were tired, thirsty and above all hungry! Grills had been recommended to us by a business associate of Ron's, so we had to check it out. Ronnie had been to their sister (the original) Grills in Port Canaveral many times through the years but this was his first time at this location, on US Hwy 1 in Melbourne. We decided to sit inside, although the breeze was blowing and cooling the outside. After looking at the menu we decided on ahi tuna, conch fritters, you peel 'em shrimp, sweet potato fried and regular fries. The regular fries were for Ron, I personally LOVE sweet potato fries. On Tuesday, the House Financial Services Subcommittee is set to discuss seven new bills, which are aimed to reform the operations of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. By Alyse Rzemek There have been a total of 15 bills introduced since March, so far the subcommittee has approved only eight bills reforming the two mortgage giants. Lawmakers will mull several bills with a variety of topics regarding the GSEs, but little movement is expected. One bill prevents the treasury from lowering the current 10 percent dividend the two mortgage giants pay, which some have speculated the GSEs have been lobbying Treasury to reduce the dividend payments for some time. The Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida just opened the $500,000 Tree Top Trek Adventures. My wife and I bought tickets and we're planning on checking it out soon. I may have to use some Icy Hot Power Gel afterwards ;-). The Tree Top Challenge course includes multiple high stakes challenges and large zip lines 40 feet above the ground. You fly more than 700 feet across the wetlands and zip by alligators, monkeys and other zoo animals. They say it takes about 90 minutes but I've heard it's more like 2 hours. There are three course levels from easy to hard so everyone can get in on the action. It should be a lot of fun and I'll post photos after we go. We have until Nov.11 so I have time to work out :-). The Brevard Zoo is hosting Summer Saturday nights until July 30. Admission is just $5.00 to get in, while zoo members get in for free. Times are 5:00 to 9:00 PM. There will be live entertainment from local bands. The zoo is located at 8225 N. Wickham Road in Melbourne, just east of the I 95 exit. I headed there to see the giraffes last weekend, but those big guys were hiding. I'm going back again, as they are my favorite. See you at the zoo.
