For the record I love bank owned properties around the Orlando, FL area. They are great deals for buyers, it allows most buyers to get into a great home in a great area for less, just needs a little TLC. However this week has been a trying one. My buyers wrote and offer on a property about a week and half ago. Banks sometimes get back to us right away and sometimes they take a little longer. Well the good news came today that the Senate has passed the new HR bill that will also for Down Payment Assistance Programs like Nehemiah to stay around. There will be more restrictions on the program such as credit scores, which I think there should be, but it's a step in the right direction.
