The Love Bugs are Back....Ocean Spray Car Wash Can Help! Another love bug season returned this week, and it is a season every driver hates.  Love bugs have been especially problematic traveling along I-95 splattering on vehicle windshields, hoods, and chrome grills.  They become very acidic and can damage vehicle paint if left on for more than a day or two.  Love bugs are also extremely difficult to remove, and who really has the desire or the time required to deal with this nuisance? The great news is Ocean Spray Car Wash (located at 520 east Eau Gallie Blvd., Indian Harbour Beach, FL) can help!  For an extra $3, they will spray your vehicle with a love bug remover or "love bug juice" as they call it.  Several employees will then use special sponges to remove the love bugs.  If any lov...

When I was a child, I vividly remember being able to communicate with my younger sister, Robin, before she could talk.  I regularly translated what my sister "said" to our mother.  My poor mother was completely baffled at my ability to do this.  Robin would say something to my mom, who would look at me with a bewildered look on her face.  I would tell her what Robin "meant" and then she would look at my sister and ask, "Is that what you want/mean?" Robin would then nod her head up and down. This video, as cute as it is, made me remember my days as "The Baby Whisperer".

I keep a bunch of re-usable tote shopping bags in my car.  By having them with me, I can run into a store, and always have them with me when I need them. Recently, I was rushing around getting things done on a particularly icky day.  I dashed into the grocery store, picked up what I needed, and raced to the check out line.  I was standing in front of an elderly lady in line.  As I handed my totes to the checker, the lady said to me: "I wish I could remember to bring my bags with me, but I always seems to forget them when I leave the house." The check-out lady smiled and said to her: "Sally, it's okay, you walk here, it's no big deal if you forget them." "But I ALWAYS seem to forget them." Sally continued, real frustration shadowing her face. I said to Sally, You can have a couple of min...
